Ontario Security Guard License First Aid Requirement

To obtain your Security Guard License in Ontario, you must have at minimum Emergency First Aid & CPR to write the Ministry Exam. 

Please note this requirement is only for entrance to the exam and may not satisfy future employer/employment needs. 

WSIB Reg. 1101 states any workplace with 5 or more staff on site at one time, the minimum level of First Aid is Standard First Aid & CPR.
